Hi everyone,

We've placed an order for a 2020 Telluride in the SX trim. However, we cannot decide on which colour to get!

Dark Moss is boss, especially with the brown interior. It's a very unique colour.

Never had a red car before and Sangria looks like a nice colour.

Everlasting Silver looks simply amazing on the Telluride and brings out its best features, IMO. But I've had many silver cars in the past and our current beater is also silver in colour.

Any pros and cons for either of the 3 colours above? Which one would you choose?

Hi, I'm in Edmonton too, where did you purchase from?

I had my heart set on Dark Moss, but saw an Silver one today, really nice.

I am getting it from North Kia. There is a factory $1K discount, loyalty rate for interest, and they’re throwing in free block heater, all weather mats, and locking wheel lug nuts.

Also got them to give me couple of free oil changes.

Couldn’t get anything off of MSRP due to the demand and supply.

What are you considering?

Like you, I ordered the SX trim and because of the factory black wheels, I chose the everlasting silver since the light color always looks amazing with a dark wheel contrast.

My personal feeling on the dark moss: Love the green color, and if the color stayed that way, I probably would have gotten it. The color change from green to brown to black and all was a bit much when I would have really wanted just the green.

As you know, Edmonton stock is limited right now, I did find a Dark Moss SX with brown interior in Red Deer.

I found North Kia a little shady when it came to negotiations, but really which dealer isn't right now.

KIA West Edmonton has to most in stock, but after I got my Sorento from them a few years ago, I promised myself I would never buy from them again.

More stock can be found if you're willing to venture out to other nearby cities like Medicine Hat.

North Kia is indeed a little shady, LOL. They wanted me to pay a $5K markup. I told them to pound salt and the very next day they came up with a good price for my trade-in ('17 Sorento EX V6). I purchased my Sorento from Kia West Edmonton and had a fabulous experience.

What happened with Kia West? Shady business practice?

I have everlasting silver, but the more I look at it, it's just grey. My wife likes the look, but I think I would have preferred moss green. But there was no moss green in stock and this was to be my wife's replacement for her '05 Sienna. Somehow I became the primary driver and my wife now drives my Rav4 hybrid.

It's best this way since she's got a heavy foot and my Telly will be getting 15mpg! Instead, she's getting 35mpg on Rav4.

I ordered moss. IMO it looks best with the black wheels. I love silver/gray vehicles and have owned a few, but moss is boss in the Telly SX. Hopefully mine (i mean the wife's) will be in by the end of June. (fingers crossed) Espresso interior too!

Moss Green with Espresso interior is a perfect combination. Congrats JCzoom (I mean your wife)!

Congrats on the SX! I just bought an EX in Sangria last week. At first I wasn’t the biggest fan but my wife loved it and it was the only one in stock that I was able to negotiate below MSRP. Sangria has been growing on me especially in the sun it has really shine but when it’s overcast it dulls a bit. Thankfully I’m in So Cal so we’ll get a bit of sun. Id recommend dark moss or white. Seen a few SXs in white and with tinted windows and black rims they look really nice

My wife and I were back and forth between Sangria or Dark Moss. We just ordered Dark Moss with Butterscotch interior. My wife loves the color red but in the end it was too dark for her. You will probably be happy either way.

Did you order with AWD? I wanted the butterscotch but supposedly it wasn't available yet from the factory on AWD models.

Yeah I just placed it a couple days ago. I could swear I have seen pictures of it in that exact trim here on the forums already.

Maybe when you ordered it back in March it was not being produced... or maybe your dealer had one coming in the color they told you they could get and wanted to sell it.

Well, I know the dealer didn't have one coming in, because i'm still waiting for a build date. The only pics I've seen so far of butterscotch interior have been on FWD models. I'd be happy with either color. Both are real nice and different than the normal black or gray. Good luck on your order!!

Hi, Yes, Moss is Boss, lol. Really wanted the Expresso, but wasn't a fan of how dark it made the interior feel when compared with the lighter color headliner. Curious, when did you order?

The black interior also has the light color headliner. It looked a lot better to me in person than on the website. I'm excited to see the espresso in person! My order was place 4/24. I have no info yet from the dealer on a build date. Hopefully I will soon. At the time of the order, the sales manager was confident it would take around 8 weeks to come in. I'm at week 4 now..

@13_FST

I looked at the Telluride in multiple colors before buying mine, and I truly believe it looked sharpest in Dark Moss, so that's what I purchased. Dark Moss just makes the Telluride exude a certain level of class, in my opinion. Everlasting Silver is bland by comparison, and I prefer a bolder shade of red compared to the Sangria color. It doesn't accentuate the Telluride's bodywork as well as Dark Moss. Silver is nice for hiding salt in the winter, which I assume you deal with in Edmonton, but Dark Moss hides pollen well, which is really bad in my area.

I have a EX in Everlasting Silver, but also did aftermarket 20" black rims and blacked out the silver badges. Looks super sharp! I am getting tons of compliments on the color combo.
